The caller allegedly used a secret code to generate a specific sequence of numbers instead of the ones randomly generated. Suspicion rose as the caller's girlfriend call bingo for one of the top prizes.

An investigation uncovered the plot to fix the games and an outcome is still pending upon the internal inquiry. The caller has been dismissed and another member of staff suspended.

Gala Bingo has pledged the money has gone straight back to prize board and is treating the matter with uttermost seriousness.
